Woman’s Health

Specialising in women’s health takes into account psychoneuroimmunology, which explores the way behaviour and emotions influence the nervous and immune systems. Healing both the mind and body is imperative. The whole patient is attended to, not just a diseased part, but any sexual concerns, insomnia, work problems, family concerns, anxiety, depression, phobias to pre-menstrual syndrome, eating disorders and chronic pain.
Frequently health care workers miss mental illness and emotional disturbances. Mind disorders can have physical consequences, and disorders of the body can lead to emotional disturbance. For example, a female during menopause may become depressed due to experiencing hot flushes; night sweats and becomes deprived of sleep, therefore unable to function at work or daytime activities.
Women, who work, frequently feel stressed as they try to balance work and family life, especially single mothers. Finding childcare, concerns about wages, finding chances of promotion to be reduced because of pregnancy or caring for children, poor relationships with their partner, contribute to the stresses and strains of women’s health. Suppressing anger and impatience, behaviour more frequent in women, may increase the chances of developing hypertension, headaches, obesity and depression.
I am not a healer but rather I assist females, find why they do what they do, getting rid of repressions and old habit forming issues, aiding recovery. Women have the power to heal themselves with these kind of problems.
